Delivery and Installation

We offer delivery for all of our work.  Delivery prices vary from job to job and the price is determined by the size of the job and the distance from our shop.  Gas prices are also a growing factor, obviously.

Installation is also available and is determined by several factors.  Some installations, such as an entertainment center just need to be assembled and set in place.  Basically that wouldn't cost much, where as an entire kitchen would take much more time and the cost would reflect that.

Cabinet installation is pretty complicated.  First off, the room it is going in may make a difference.  If the floors are old and crooked, and the walls are not square, the cabinet installation will need to be fit in.  Since we are totally custom, we don't use large spacers to hide the space between where a cabinet butts up to a wall, we put the cabinet right up to it and custom fit it to the wall.    Next thing to consider would be how many cabinets have to be hung and how many are on the floor which gives total number of cabinets.  Other things that are considered might be heater vents under cabinets, moldings, unique styles that might take longer to install, under cabinet lighting, sink holes or cook tops that need to be cut into counters (if we are doing the countertops), and so on.  While none of these are really costly alone, they can add up.  Also, if the job site is out of town or out of state, and there is a need for installers to stay near the job site, that can be costly as well.  Another consideration would be if your remodeling, and your old cabinets need to be removed.

Pretty basic stuff really, the more you have and the farther it you are from us, the more it costs.  Normally, if your near by and have an average size job, you can expect to pay around 12% and up of the total job price for delivery and installation of a cabinet job.  Obviously, if you are close by and just have us make you a set of end tables that just need to be deliver and set in place, it wouldn't be that much.  On the other hand, if you have an huge old house in California, and order 4 truck loads of cabinets that are loaded with special additions and require 200 man hours to install, your going to pay much more than 12%.
