Woods and Combinations
Unique Woodworking features literally hundreds of possible wood combinations. We offer our customers the option of choosing any type of wood available. Rather than restricting our customers to one type of wood for a job, we can custom create a combination of woods to create a unique, one of a kind project.
An example of a simple combination would be a maple cabinet consisting of maple frame and sides, but rather than using normal maple for the door panels, you might add a curly maple, or a birdseye maple. This would really add flair and beauty to a normally plain cabinet as well as greatly increase the resale value with a minimum of expense for premium wood.
Another idea for a more exotic look would be using contrasting woods, such as using purple heart as a boarder around cherry raised panel. We did this for a set of bathroom cabinets, and you can see them here:

Whether you are using one solid wood throughout, a second wood to accent, or multiple woods for a contrast, the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
