Unique Woodworking is dedicated to total custom woodworking at the highest quality.  While utilizing age old techniques combined with space age technologies, we craft common or exotic  species  of woods into beautiful one of a kind works that usually surpass our customers highest expectations.

We offer  our customers the ability to customize every aspect of their project.  Whether its a customized entertainment center made to fit their room and fit around their television perfectly, or a specialized cabinet to fit and maximize storage in a crowded bathroom, we offer our customers an almost limitless number of possibilities and we work closely with our customers to assure they get exactly what they want.

We are also very versatile.  Being completely custom, we have done jobs as small as a pair of customized hand crafted folding snack tables, to a full set of customized kitchen cabinets.  Custom entertainment centers, built-in shelving, customized desks, tables, vanities, countertops and completely custom medicine cabinets have also been crafted.  We are also planning on adding customized interior and entry doors in the near future.

Each piece of wood used is hand picked and matched with other wood to create a work of art.  Our customers are people who demand the highest quality woodworking available. 

While other production shops cover their wood up with heavy finishes to hide imperfections, we take the time to hand sand each piece up to a 220 grit to assure the wood is ready for our unique finishing process.  Our 14 step unique finishing process features hand rubbing the finishes on rather than spraying.  This allows the finish to penetrate the wood and go on in light coats, giving the wood incredible depth and accenting the wonderful grains of the woods, instead of covering it up with a heavy spray on finish.  And while our finish is beautiful, it also features all the strength and durability of polyurethane. 

Located in Holly, Michigan, Unique woodworking has offered its services to the Metro-Detroit area for several years now.  But more recently, as word has spread, and Unique Woodworking can be found as far north as Alpena, Michigan, and reaching as far south as Georgia and Southern Florida.  Our custom woodworking has also can be found in North Carolina, and as far west as Louisiana.
